WE choose the path we walk on. We can choose to be hurt. We can choose to be broken. It is hard to walk alone. It is hard when no one understands. It is difficult to get past the pain, the hurt and the shame. The despair is inevitable, but we can still try to fight. Everyday, every hour, every minute, we can fight.
Do not give in to the hopelessness. We may be beaten back countless of times. The pain can keep on coming. But, we cannot give up. We cannot give in.
I refuse to be a rag doll. I am slowly learning. Learning to take the hits. Learning to be stronger. It may take weeks, months or years, but little by little, I want to be stronger. I have to be. There are many more difficult people in this world. Many more battles for me to fight and even more things worth fighting for.
